90 Bills passed by Bagmati Province Assembly in eight years

Kathmandu. 90 bills have been passed during the eight years since the formation of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly. So far, out of 90 bills passed by the state assembly, 89 have been approved by the state head and have been implemented. Purna Bahadur Darji, secretary of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly Secretariat, informed that the bill to regulate the management and control of provincial lotteries has been withdrawn from the provincial head and is again under consideration by the subject committee under the provincial assembly. According to him, 93 bills have been registered in the provincial assembly so far. 

Similarly, Secretary Darzi said that 50 original laws were passed by the Provincial Assembly and 21 amendments were passed. He informed that 100 percent of the 14 ordinances registered in the Provincial Assembly were approved and seven were replaced and five were inactive.
