9-point agreement between government and meterbay victims, suspension of 9-day long protest

Kathmandu. The protest against Meterbaz, which has been going on for the past 9 days, has finally been suspended after 9 points have been agreed between the government and the victims. After the 'Pedal Nyaya March' which started from Janakpur's Tritiyagachi on 25th June reached Nijgarh in Bara, on 32nd June Home Minister Sudan Gurung and the victims' representatives agreed to form a negotiation team in Kathmandu.

According to the same agreement, the negotiation team of the victims came to Kathmandu and the government team led by Pushkar Sapkota, Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, led to this solution. The agreement was signed by Secretary Sapkota on behalf of the government negotiation team and Awadhesh Kushwaha on behalf of the victims.
