8 Ministries in Bagmati Province from today

Kathmandu. With the beginning of the new financial year 2083 and 084 in Bagmati province, the number of ministries has been fixed at 8. The previous decision of the government to reduce the 14 ministries in the province to 8 has been implemented. 

According to the decision taken by the Provincial Council of Ministers meeting held on 22 Baisakh, the arrangement of having only 8 ministries, including the office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers, has come into effect from today. Accordingly, Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Banian has prepared to divide the work according to the ministry. Prabhat Tamang, the spokesperson of the government and Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning, informed that he will divide the work including the management of 6 ministers of the province.
