61.62 percent of rice planting has been completed across the country, the progress is slower than last year

Kathmandu. In the current fiscal year 2083, 84, 61.62 percent of rice planting has been completed across the country so far. According to the latest data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, out of the total 13 lakh 66 thousand 562 hectares of paddy planting area, only 8 lakh 42 thousand 68 hectares have been planted.

By the same period last year, 72.14 percent planting had been done across the country till 4th of Shravan. This year's comparative data shows that the pace of planting this time is somewhat slower than last year.
