53 missing motorcycles from Kathmandu were found by the owners
Kathmandu. The traffic police has handed over 53 motorcycles and scooters stolen from various places in Kathmandu Valley to the owners. The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office handed over to the concerned rich today on Thursday. Head of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Senior Superintendent of Police Navraj Adhikari handed over 31 motorcycles and 22 scooters to the respective owners today.
During the search based on the application received at the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office and the information received through other means, while some of the real number plates and some of the fake number plates were kept, the said vehicle from Kadanghari, Swayambhu, Darbarmarg, Chapagaon, Nepaltar, Naya Bus Park, Balkumari, Lokantali, Basantpur, Kalimati, Buddh, Gokarna, Mulpani, Sukedhara, Sundarijal, Thankot, Sohrakhute, Kapan, Chagal Traffic and other places in Kathmandu Valley. The police found it.
Kathmadu Valley Traffic Police has handed over 296 vehicles to Dhani since last July, including the 53 that were handed over today. According to the traffic police, 29 people involved in the theft along with 16 stolen two-wheelers have been taken into custody and sent to various police premises and police circles for necessary action.
In the financial year 2080-081, 417 vehicles and 503 two-wheelers in 081-082 have been searched and handed over to the respective owners by the traffic police. Senior Superintendent of Police Navraj Adhikari, Head of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, has requested to park their vehicles in a safe place and install security sirens such as handle lock, disk lock, in addition to 9GPS connection, and not to park vehicles in secluded places where people do not move, to prevent vehicle theft and loss.
