5 MPs of Madhesh Pradesh Assembly discharged

Kathmandu. 5 members of the Madhesh Pradesh Assembly have been dismissed. Speaker Ramchandra Mandal dismissed 5 members of the Provincial Assembly for their absence in 10 consecutive meetings.
According to the letter released by the Madhes Pradesh Assembly Secretariat on Thursday night, 4 MPs from the Upendra Yadav-led Janata Samajwadi Party and 1 from the Civil Liberties Party will be dismissed.
After a no-confidence motion was filed against Speaker Ramchandra Mandal, he took action against 5 MPs. Urmila Devi Singh, Manish Kumar Suman, Sanjay Kumar Yadav, Simhansa Sa Kalwar and Sarada Sankar Prasad Kalwar have been relieved of their posts.
