5 Construction companies and suppliers blacklisted, barred from participating in public procurement for 3 years

Kathmandu. The government has blacklisted five builders and suppliers who are slow and negligent in their work. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers issued a notice on Tuesday, June 30, informing that those companies have been blacklisted.

According to the office, this decision was made in accordance with subsection 1 of section 63 of the Public Procurement Act, 2063 based on written recommendations from various public bodies. Effective from the date of publication of the notice, those companies will not be allowed to participate in the procurement process of any public body for 1 to 3 years.
