4.2 magnitude earthquake with epicenter at Kotdeval in Bajhang

Bajhang. Kotdeval, located in Bajhang district of Sudurpaschim Province, was the epicenter of the earthquake. According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, an earthquake of 4.2 magnitude was measured at 4:40 am today.

The tremors of the earthquake were felt in Bajhang as well as in different areas of the neighboring district Baitadi. After the earthquake was felt in the morning, the local residents were panicked for a while. However, the police and local administration have said that no property damage has been reported so far due to the earthquake.
