38 parties registered for the House of Representatives elections
Kathmandu. The Election Commission has stated that 38 parties have been registered so far for the purposes of the House of Representatives elections. The spokesperson of the commission, Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, while giving information, said that 38 parties have been registered for the House of Representatives elections, while 8 parties have been registered for the purposes of the National Assembly elections. Similarly, 28 parties are in the registration process.
According to him, the commission is advancing the security, management and other preparations of the election according to the action plan. Spokesperson Bhattarai informed that a specific time has been fixed for the election of members of the House of Representatives by February 20th for voters who will turn 18 years of age. The voter details will be published on the Commission's website on the 20th of this month. The commission said that if there is any error or complaint in the details, it can be corrected from 21st to 27th of December. According to Bhattarai, the final list of voters will be published on the 15th of January after the process of correcting the details is completed.
