National Life Insurance 15.1 million contribution to the Divine Disaster Relief Fund
Kathmandu. National Life Insurance Company Limited has provided financial assistance of Rs 1.51 million to the Prime Minister's Divine Disaster Relief Fund for the relief, reconstruction and economic recovery of the citizens affected by the severe floods in Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers.
The company contributed the amount under corporate social responsibility. President of the company Prema Rajyalakshmi Singh and Chief Executive Officer Suresh Prasad Khatri handed over a check equal to the aid amount to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle in a special program organized today.
On the 10th of August last year, the severe flood which occurred in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers along with Gegran had caused huge loss of human wealth. The company has also requested its employees and agents to actively participate in the rescue and relief work, stating that assistance is needed for relief, rescue, reconstruction and economic revival in the flood-affected areas.
The company expressed its condolences to the bereaved families while expressing their condolences to all those who lost their lives in the natural calamity. Also, he wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
