24 crore cardamom sale from Lamjung

Lamjung. This year, an income of Rs. 243.3 million has been received from the sale of cardamom seeds in the district. According to Hari Bahadur Mizar, Agriculture Officer of National Agricultural Modernization Project Implementation Unit Lamjung, an income equal to Rs.

He informed that this year, cardamom was sold at Rs 1,800 to Rs 2,500 per kg. He said that although the production has decreased this year compared to last year, the income has increased due to the increase in prices.

Agriculture officer Mizar mentioned that the production of cardamom, which was 0.4 percent last year, decreased to 0.39 percent this year. In the year 2081-82, an income of Rs. 220 million was earned from the sale of 150 metric tons of cardamom seeds. Last year, cardamom was sold at Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,400 per kg.
