20 people were arrested in Pokhara, including chess players

Kathmandu. 20 people have been arrested for gambling in different places of Pokhara. Kaski police team arrested them from three places. The police conducted a raid based on a tip-off that Juatas was playing. 5 people have been arrested from Pokhara 9 new markets. 212 Patti Tas and Rs 2 lakh 59 thousand 455 in cash have been recovered from them. Similarly, 7 people have been arrested from Lumpibot community forest in Pokhara 26 Vijaypur. DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet, Information Officer of Kaski Police, said that 14 bags worth 77,000 205 cash were recovered from them.

8 more people have been arrested from Pokhara 2 Mohoriatol. The police said that 6 books and 2 lakh 73 thousand 445 rupees in cash were recovered from them. Basnet informed everyone that the gambling case is being investigated.
