2 prisoners who escaped from Sundhara jail during Genji movement arrested

Kathmandu. Nepal Police has arrested two people who escaped from Sundhara Prison during the Genji movement. The Central Investigation Bureau of the Police, CIB, arrested two persons who were serving their imprisonment in Sundhara Jail in the case of human trafficking, kidnapping, hostage bandit and organized crime and who escaped during the Genji movement on Thursday.

Those arresed are 46-year-old Shyamalal Dangol of Tokha, Kathmandu and 30-year-old Vinod KC of Nuwakot Shivpuri alias Vinod Gautam. Spokesman of the Bureau, Senior Superintendent of Police SSP Shiv Kumar Shrestha said that Dangol, who was arrested, was serving time for human trafficking and Gautam was serving a prison sentence for kidnapping, kidnapping, banditry and organized crime. Spokesperson Shrestha informed that both the arrested persons were sent to Sundhara Central Jail on Thursday to pay their imprisonment.
