17 people died in Jaljala jeep accident

Kathmandu. 17 people died in a jeep accident in Jaljala at Thawang in Rolpa. The accident occurred when the jeep, which was going from Rukum east to Jaljala 6, fell down about 800 meters from the Bhir in Jaljala 1 of Thawang Rural Municipality.

The police said that 17 people have died so far and the rescue operation is continuing. Bolero jeep numbered Lu 1 J 4167 has met with an accident. According to the police, a jeep carrying people participating in the fair on the occasion of Baisakh Purnima met with an accident in Jaljala.
