14 old iPhones worth 7 lakhs recovered from Nagadhunga
Kathmandu. The police have seized 14 old iPhones worth about seven lakh rupees, which were brought by customs fraud from Nagdhunga, the main checkpoint of Kathmandu. According to the District Police Complex, Kathmandu, the mobile phones were found during a vehicle check at Nagadhunga Checkpost located in Chandragiri Municipality (2) at 10:30 on Tuesday night. The illegally brought materials were seized during a suspicious search of a passenger bus numbered Lu 2 B 6566 coming from Butwal to Kathmandu.
A joint police team deputed from Nagadhunga Police Division found the iPhones hidden in a black bag near the driver's seat while searching the bus. Police said that no official bill or purchase document was found in relation to the seized mobiles.
