Kathmandu. This week, the NEPSE index increased by 12.78 points and reached 2654.93 points. NEPSE, which closed at 2642.15 points last week, increased by 12.78 points to 22654.93 points this week. The market was open on all five trading days this week. In which NEPSE increased on four trading days and NEPSE decreased only on one trading day.

An average of 5 billion 125 million rupees has been traded this week. 6 billion 699 million shares were traded on Sunday, 5 billion 1386 million shares were traded on Monday and 5 billion 1386 million shares on Tuesday. Similarly, shares worth 4.45 billion 1.1 million and 4.17 billion 4.6 billion were traded on Wednesday. 

On the first trading day of the week, NEPSE decreased by 27.59 points and settled at 2614.55. On that day, 1 crore 59 lakh 89 thousand 430 shares of 324 companies traded in NEPSE were bought and sold, and the turnover was over 6 billion 69 crore 97 lakh rupees. 

On the second trading day of the week, NEPSE increased by 2.41 points to 2616.97. On that day, when 1 crore 26 lakh 21 thousand 188 shares of 329 companies traded in NEPSE were bought and sold, the turnover was over 5 billion 13 crore 86 lakh rupees.
